Fine Sand
- 99% of the water being purified in the world today is accomplished by
passing the water through “Rapid Sand Filters”. Theoretically, the upper
layer of the bed performs the filtration, while the lower layers provide the
necessary support and assist in the hydraulics involved during the backwash
cycle. The chemical and physical properties are important.
